Migraine headache prevention includes getting proper rest and eating right.

The manner of occurrence of   headache and migraine

If one observes people who have migraine, it would be clear that they have some erratic habits like faulty eating, light sleep, stressful, and reactive. They are not amenable to suggestions and are apparently strong minded.  They are afraid of people who can manipulate.  They can’t handle when their weaknesses and arguments are twisted against them.  The severe cases often behave as mentally disturbed, and often get disturbed as well if their headache/migraine has anything to do with stress.

Housewives waiting for their husbands for lunch can develop migraine if the husbands are constantly failing to attend lunch.

It should be clearly understood that everybody is not equipped to cope up with headache or migraine with all the knowledge in the world that stress is the reason that is causing the disease.  Women are emotional beings. Sentiments transforms into a physical handicap if not fulfilled in the expected manner.

A busy person is a person who is not present- and the statement can have serious repercussion on the mental health of a person who tells it to herself.

Starting with a throbbing pain the migraine may extend to a chronic headache.  Secondary causes can be present which may be brain infection, tumour etc.

Avoiding a cause is the best prevention measure

Less fat in food: 

As people age, their metabolism gets reduced, even the appetite. It is only the taste bud that wants to eat better food.  Fatty foods obviously taste good and so the consumption.  That people are becoming conscious of fat in their diets provokes the craving to go for  it occasionally.  The frequency may become as regular as once in two three days.  Fat triggers migraine. Some people are allergic to the frying smell of flour material.  This shows the intolerance of the body towards fatty foods, if people start taking food which has more butter and chocolate in it, then it is as good as taking fatty food. Avoiding the food can show improvements in 71 per cent of cases.  The rest have complex symptoms which may be secondary infestations.

Complex carbohydrate in food: 

when people lessen the intake of fat, they may add complex carbohydrates to their food.  These may cause migraine while getting down to the simple compounds. Reducing this type of food will reduce the attack by about 67 per cent.

Duration of migraine:

Migraine headache sometimes may cause heart stroke because the pulmonary artery gets affected due to certain treatment caused by the pain killer medicines. Migraine may happen during sleep. Nobody knows as to how the body reacts in between the cause and effect, and then effect and suppression. Handling one’s diet is a thing which is under one’s control.

Stress headache: 

Getting oneself out of stress is a thing under one’s control which of course is very difficult to negotiate. This may take one a charting of one’s own plus and minus points and the unavoidable situations.  Everybody has these three parameters in one’s life.  Avoiding the stressful situation is the best technique.   But in male dominated societies the choice of the wife is not normally accepted. Hence she has to cultivate the knowledge about dealing with unavoidable situations in her life always reminding herself about the pluses in her character which are still dominant even under the severest of adverse circumstances.

Alternative cure of headache/migraine

Taking balanced diet:  It is stressful for a body to find out nutrients for effective functioning of the body.  Sometimes it is found in the body reserves. With age these reserves get exhausted.  Replenishing these reserves with balanced diet is a necessity which the diet-fanatic world forgets to remember.  Now the stress of the body should be conveyed in some manner. Hence the headache or migraine.  The body has to exert itself for energy so that digestion happens alright for generating further energy. When it does not get the required resource to supplement its reserves, it rebels.
Yoga: It is an ancient Indian method of curing the body of each and every ailment with respiration regulation. Take a deep breath inside with one nose, hold it inside for the same length of time as the inhalation and then the exhalation should be done in equal time through another nose.  It sounds simple. And unbelievable to help anything but health.  But surprisingly, this is the best practice which cures everything.  One would feel out of breath at first, and there would be a slight sensation of headache if one persists with the breathing. So it is best to improve the counts in sessions.

Conclusion

If one suspects a secondary infestation about one’s headache, one should immediately go for treatment. Otherwise, after ascertaining that nothing really has happened, one should take small precautions and observe some discipline about daily habits to get rid of the disease.
