Migraine is a problem that is affecting many people around the world. Migraine is associated with intense head ache along with irritation in eyes. Another home cure of migraine is to lie in a less illuminated room in the house, and asking some one to massage the scalp and the forehead. A person can also do the massage himself. This increases the blood circulation and relieves the pain. This is also an effective way getting rid of the head ache during migraine. Aroma therapy can also be employed to get rid of migraine. Though not every one responds well to aroma therapy, there are many who would find comfort with aroma therapy. It has been found that certain scents can help alleviate pain, and relieve stress and tension. The most common oils used in aroma therapy include pepper mint and lavender.
Consuming ginger can also help. Raw ginger must be consumed in order to find relief from migraine. Ginger has anti inflammatory properties and hence can help the swollen nerves to get back to their normal. This helps reduce the headache.
